‘Awareness and Perceived Risk of Liver fluke in UK Alpaca Herds’
This survey, conducted by the University of Liverpool, aims to better understand the current awareness and control practises for parasitic infections in alpacas, particularly liver fluke. The information collected should provide a basis for further work to assess the health and welfare implications of fluke infection and to aid in the education and improvement of these control methods. The research is being carried out by a third year Veterinary student and her supervisor at the University of Liverpool. For any more questions there are contact details on the opening information page of the survey.
The survey will be open until the end of December, so there is plenty of time for people to fill it out.
