The Northumberland County show will take place on May 30th at Bywell near Stocksfield in Northumberland. The show is the premiere outdoor agricultural show for the North East attracting around 25,000 people last year.
As always, NEBAG (North East and Borders Alpaca Group) are proud to organise and support the alpaca section, and it looks set to build on the great success of last year and be a great show, attracting 125 entries this year.
We are very pleased to have secured the expertise of Jay Holland as our judge who will be a welcome return to the North east having judged here a few years previously. We also welcome Barbara Hetherington as our apprentice judge.

The alpaca section always attracts a lot of interest from the public and we like to use this opportunity to educate young and old in a fun environment and make new friends, especially those interested in keeping animals themselves.

The show is always very popular with alpaca breeders and although the entries are now closed, we would still love to see you. The standard of the animals is very high and it's set to be a great day. We all love talking about our alpacas (!), swapping stories, ideas, advice and tips and we will be only to happy to answer any questions or discuss the latest farming issues.

We very much look forward to seeing you on the day.
(Rachel Vaclik Chief Steward).
