There will be something for everyone at the Northumberland County Show on 26th May 2014 at Bywell Hall, Stocksfield, with superb examples of cattle, sheep, horses, alpacas and goats to see, a KC Dog Show and the chance to get up close to prize winning rabbits, guinea pigs and poultry.

The new showground is bigger than ever before, and the layout is completely different from the previous year. To ensure visitors don’t miss any of the attractions, new maps and signage have been created to direct everyone around the 300+ trade stands selling everything from cakes to combines.

The show welcomes BSJA Show Jumping back adding to the glamour and elegance of the day.

The Grand Parade at 3.30pm sees the winners from each livestock section on show in the Main Arena. It shouldn’t be missed as it culminates in the award of the highest accolade of the show, the ‘Champion of Champions’.

Foodies won’t be disappointed. There is a huge range of hand cooked food and regional specialities, plus public bars and traditional beer tents. A ‘Taste of the County’ food and drink fair brings top chefs and 60 of the region’s finest food producers together in one marquee.

The Show’s heritage is deeply embedded in the farming community, and its traditional livestock classes and agricultural exhibits are at the heart of the event, however, the show organisers keep the programme fresh and interesting bringing new attractions every year to provide something for everyone to enjoy.
