Stolen Alpacas

1 May 2015

The BAS have been informed that police are investigating a burglary which occurred at Trinity Meadows, Throcking between 7.30pm on April 28 and 2pm on April 29 . Offender(s) gained access by cutting the padlock to the gate.

Six female Alpaca’s, all of which were pregnant, were stolen along with a quad bike, chain saw and strimmers.

It is believed the offender(s) would have needed a vehicle to move the animals and other items.

Anyone with any information about what happened should contact the Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number A5/15/208.

This is another good reason to get your alpacas chipped and registered, so that if they are stolen they can be positively identified
