Are you standing for election to the board?

31 January 2015

The BAS AGM will be held on 6th March at Telford International Centre.

The BAS board is made up of elected volunteers who meet 5 or 6 times a year sharing their passion and enthusiasm to support alpacas in the UK. In addition board members normally take on responsibility for one or more of the project areas; finance, welfare, DEFRA and APHA liaison, promotion and marketing, fibre, shows, education, regional groups and membership, suri focus and BCL representation.
The current board members have worked well as a team, as they share great comradery and take pride in what has been achieved. The society has come a long way but there is still more to do in order to secure a long term viable future for our alpaca industry. New board members will be warmly welcomed.

Everything related to alpacas can be found in the Alpacapedia.
