Regional Group Competitions

There will be competitions running throughout the BAS National Show 2013 and in the period leading up to it. Points will be awarded to regional groups for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places achieved by members of a group taking part in the competitions listed below. Due to the complexity of scoring results are unlikely to be available before the close of the show but will be announced at a later date.

Fleece classes to be judged 8/9th May

Halter classes to be judged 11/12th May

Agility classes 11/12th May

Junior handler 11/12th May

Great Alpaca Scarf Race  - this is a competition where teams compete to turn shorn fleece in to a knitted scarf and spinners and knitters can enter as a team or as individuals who will be put in to teams. A hat made from alpaca – own design hand or machine knitted, crocheted, felted, woven but must be at least 70% british alpaca. Please click here for an entry form
