Please pack fleeces in unmarked clear plastic bags, along with the entry forms generated when you make the on-line entry (via ‘manage your herd’ on the BAS website). Fleeces can then be packed in boxes or bagged ready for collection by courier.

We would suggest using a comparison site such as Parcels2go for cheapest courier service

Please specify what you would like us to do with your fleeces after the show:
1. Collect fleeces on Sunday 3
rd December after the show, or collect from Beck Brow Alpacas
2. Have fleeces posted back – you will be invoiced after the fleeces are returned, so please make sure you enclose a return address label, and enclose this with the fleece and entry form.
3. If you do not require your fleece returned, it will be donated to the BAS for training courses.

For further information please contact Barbara Hetherington on mobile: 07833642752 or email:

The prize-winning fleeces will be on display at Ainstable Village Hall from 11,00 am, on Sunday 3rd December 2017. Awards will be presented at 12.00 noon. This will be followed, for anyone who would like to attend, by Christmas lunch at the Heather Glen Country House Hotel Please let Barbara know as soon as possible if you wish to book lunch. The food is always excellent.

Entering fleece shows is an excellent way to get your fleeces assessed. We encourage those who haven’t entered before, to give it a go. A skirting video has been posted on the NWAG Facebook page (you may want to fast forward to the relevant part)
