Election of BAS Directors at the AGM on Saturday 15 March 2008
149 ballots were cast.
The vote at the AGM was extremely close, with a second poll being held to fill the fourth vacancy. The voting on the first poll was:

According to rule 3.2(viii), the nomination of Susan Davies for appointment to the Board was not approved.
According to rule 3.2(viii), the following with the greatest number of votes in favour are appointed to the Board:
Richard Beale
Maria Leitner
Mary-Jo Smith
In accordance with rule 3.2(viii), the tie for the fourth place between Carole Christian and Jay Holland was decided by a vote of those present at the meeting. The meeting voted to conduct this by a paper poll rather than a show of hands and Carole Christian was duly elected with 26 votes. Jay Holland polled 24 votes.
